We're in the final days getting ready for the "big trip" of the summer--the Madison, Wisconsin, loop that will take us to the wondrous Tallesin of Frank Lloyd Wright, the HD Museum, and some time with family in Madison. Hoping for sunny skies for our first leg on Saturday. Do love the fact that HD dealerships are spaced perfectly for pit stops. We'll be collecting those poker chips or dippin' dots along the way.
Jackets are going along; even though it's threatening 100 degrees here tomorrow, we're told the evenings up north will be chilly. Of course, the ever-present rain suits will be with us as well. Sunscreen, chapstick, laptop, camera, and just enough clothes to get us by will be fit in the saddle bags with Tetris-like skill. Stay tuned!
